lake powell

we were finally able to join our family in Lake Powell for some on the water time.  they go every year, but we've been having too many babies for that. this year though the kids were basically all old enough to go, and have a blast.  

both the big girls tried knee boarding and go up on their first tries.  Madeline had a little bit of trouble her first go around and needed a break.  so, she got to spend some time being the skipper of our boat.  

after some initial instruction, Anna was off on the knee board too!  she didn't fall, so she took several trips around the lake.  

 Bubba was a trooper.  we stayed on the like straight through naps, but he only complained a little.

i am still dealing with the side effects from my medication, but all in all it was a great trip!  

night glow!

when i heard there was going to be a "night glow." at the mall, i immediately put it on the calendar.  i love hot air balloons, and so do the girls! Jason thought it sounded weird, but the hot air balloons proved him wrong!

 but if you try really hard, you can get a really beautiful shot!  also, after rolling through this gravel, Jason also saw the beauty of a BOB stroller.  hopefully, that just got bumped up the wish list!
